      Anonymous Interview

      9 May 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in Feb 2018

      Interview

Autodesk was completely unorganized and the candidate experience is horrible. They have forgotten that interviewing is a two-way street and that the candidates they interview actually have to want to work at the company when the process is said and done. Hiring manager started to check references, but then suddenly stopped after one reference check. The recruiter keeps on telling me that they will make a decision by X date, the date comes and goes, no response from the recruiter, I email to follow up a few days later and am ignored. This has happened two times over the last three weeks. Though I understand they are interviewing other candidates, it would be in their best interest to be open and honest, instead of just leaving candidates hanging. At this point I haven't heard anything from recruiting, or the hiring manager, so I'm assuming that I did not get the role.
