I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Autodesk in May 2024
Interview
I have given interviews for couple of positions, at first attempt it went till second round and in second attempt was not able to clear the first round. Both the times, I have asked the HR for the detailed feedback because I was confident and can sense from the panel's that he was also satisfied. But HR did not share the detailed feedback and said it breaks the confidentiality clause. Does sharing the interview feedback with the interviewee breaks the confidentiality clause? They are just wasting the time of interviewee because might be there employees have time for this.
Also, in first attemt, I got the round wise topics from HR which was not followed at all, not sure why they share such things if they themselves are not going to follow that. Bad experience for me in both times.
2 system design, 1 coding, 1 hiring manager.
System design focussed on standard questions (design a room reservation system and a messenger).
The coding interview was very simple.
Hiring manager screen involved digging deeper into the past experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in June 2025
Interview
Recruiter round - HM round - technical screen round.
The process is frustrating and very slow. I had to follow up with the recruiter and a scheduler at every stage.
It took them 2 -3 weeks to get back from each round. After stringing me along for 6 weeks and repeatedly requesting for next steps they rejected me without any feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Usual tech recruiter round and HM questions. Everyone was extremely disorganized and had no clue about the position. They kept saying this is a new position and they're figuring out stuff.
