I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Autodesk (Pune) in Jan 2025
Interview
L1 - Technical Coding Interview by mid level person with technical questions - Medium level difficulty.
L2 - Case Study by senior level person - Be prepared well with architectural concepts
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
L1 : Coding test for 15 mins, then technical questions
L2. Design Whatsapp architecture? what is difference between oAuth 1.0 and oAuth 2.0? Explain Kafka etc.
2 system design, 1 coding, 1 hiring manager.
System design focussed on standard questions (design a room reservation system and a messenger).
The coding interview was very simple.
Hiring manager screen involved digging deeper into the past experience.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in June 2025
Interview
Recruiter round - HM round - technical screen round.
The process is frustrating and very slow. I had to follow up with the recruiter and a scheduler at every stage.
It took them 2 -3 weeks to get back from each round. After stringing me along for 6 weeks and repeatedly requesting for next steps they rejected me without any feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Usual tech recruiter round and HM questions. Everyone was extremely disorganized and had no clue about the position. They kept saying this is a new position and they're figuring out stuff.
