Interview set for Friday afternoon, but the hiring manager arrived late and seemingly uninterested. Very little engagement throughout, repeated questions from the previous interview, hadn't viewed my LinkedIn or my CV. I was rejected based on my answers to industry-specific aspects of Autodesk's specialities, which is fine but disappointing when the interviewer's research extended to knowing my name. The hiring manager was a 10+ plus employee and the role was filled with a similar long-term promotion, I suspect there was never an intention to go external.
