I called the hiring manager before sending the application itself, to understand more about the job. After sending the application online, I was called for an interview the very next day. The hiring manager was very flexible in choosing time and understood that I could only do the interview after work hours, as I am currently employed. We had a fairly amiable talk for 1,5 hours about the job and about the culture in Axis Communications. I was given a day of when he would call me again and he kept the promise.

Got an invitation for personal interview on site. Agreed on a suitable date and time .
