I applied for BECU with the position of Full-time Concierge at my school job fair. 2 weeks later I received an email from a recruiter at BECU to schedule a phone interview. The interview went great overall and she made sure that I understand all of the benefits working at BECU and listened to my preferences, qualifications and skills. I was then offered an on site interview with one of their hiring manager. The process requires a little bit of work since you have to take a survey for references. They require 5-7 references in which one must be you current boss. I filled out 7 references just to be sure and then I went to the on site interview fully prepared. I was 15 minutes early and was really impressed with the Tukwila office. It was big, well-decorated and everyone was very friendly. My interviewer created a welcoming environment and he really focused on discussing about my strengths and my passion. He asked a lot of behavioral questions, which I think is a good method for them in finding good concierges. We laughed, shared information and I got to learn a lot about BECU. Overall, it was a very nice interview where I don't feel a lot of pressure. My interview was on Friday and on Monday afternoon, I got a call from BECU recruiter said that they are willing to offer me the position and now I am in the process of doing background check and all the paperwork. Can't wait to start my career with BECU!
