I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bamko in June 2026
Interview
I was excited about the opportunity and enjoyed meeting the team, but the hiring process ultimately left a negative impression.
I completed a lengthy design assignment that required several hours of work after being told I would hear back within 1–2 days. No decision, no feedback on the design exercise, and not even an acknowledgment that my work had been received.
At the end of the process, it was difficult not to wonder whether the assignment was simply a way to obtain free design work from candidates. Regardless of the reason, asking applicants to invest significant unpaid time and then completely ghosting them is disrespectful and reflects poorly on the company.
Candidates deserve transparency, communication, and basic professional courtesy.
The interview process typically starts with an initial screening, where HR reviews your resume and checks your basic fit for the role. After that, there is usually a first-round HR or recruiter interview to understand your background, experience, and career goals.
Sketchy they ask for to much and seemed to be to good to be true, also they ask for alot of information for just texting you out of nowhere. Really wasn't even an interview
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We want to be very clear that BAMKO does not recruit or communicate job offers through text messages. Unfortunately, scammers have recently been impersonating our company and reaching out to individuals with fraudulent “job opportunities.” These messages are not from BAMKO, and we are actively working with the appropriate platforms and authorities to put an end to this activity.
We truly appreciate you raising awareness. Protecting candidates and maintaining a safe, transparent hiring process is extremely important to us. If you ever receive a suspicious message claiming to be from BAMKO, please reach out directly through our official website so we can investigate.
