I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bath & Body Works (Austin, TX) in June 2012
Interview
I asked if thy were hiring in-store and they said that they were and gave me an application to fill out. They called me a couple of days after I brought it back and said that they were conducting a group interview the following week. I arrived at the store in the mall for the group interview and the hiring manager, two other girls, and I walked to the food court to talk. She asked us questions about previous experience, our personalities, skills, etc. as well as scenario questions (i.e. how would you sell this product? what would you do if a customer wanted to return a used product? etc.)
The interview lasted about 25 minutes. They did not contact me again, but they said that they were undergoing a big change in management and employment opportunities may change.
