I filled out the application online and it took a few days to get a call in for an interview and I was told that there was a new store opening in my city. We were also told at the interview that there is going to be a new store opening. But the interview was technically a group interview but there was only a girl there and the manager I spoke on the phone with. The interview was very casual, the manager made it very comfortable and seemingly like a casual conversation rather than a job interview. He just asked maybe two or three basic interview questions and then we stepped out to the floor and he wanted to see how me and the other girl would talk to the customers. Basically, just wanted us to try to sell an item to each other and I think he really liked the fact that both of us added on products. So the other person was like “Oh I’m looking for a fruity and flowery type of scent but I don’t want something too strong” then I answered with “Oh well we have the scent Japanese cherry blossom it’s both fruity and flowery and it’s not going to be too much for your allergies and there’s also a body butter and body wash if you’d like to make a complete set” . After that the interview was done with. And literally the next day I got a call back with an offer.
