I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at BayStreet Research (Oakland, CA) in Apr 2024
Interview
1. Applied online.
2. Initial 30-minute phone screening.
3. Four 30-minute video interviews in a continuous two-hour block. Interviewers included the CEO and Founder. Was very repetitive with many interviewers asking the same or similar questions and the entire process felt patched together last minute.

Interview
seems like the last one is on point, on what they felt about the company before even considering on joining. I did not even let it go past a day for the tone on the person who was going to talk to me was bad right off the back. I asked if there was anything in zoom since I dont feel comfortable doing zoom calls. Then got a reply like this "Offer was for a phone interview and nothing was mentioned about zoom." I Said thank you and thought about it then the next day. Then I said never mind if you dont even know me and you are already talking to me like that. I will not succeed here, it was just a question and nothing more to get a response like that felt like my last job. Then I just told them to not even bother for I don't need to be at a hostile company again...

Interview
There was an initial phone introduction, then two on-site interviews. Both onsite interviews were panel style interviews. I got an offer after having coffee with the CEO and happily accepted.
