I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Bearly Marketing (Los Angeles, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
I had gotten there on time and waited for 20min in the front of the office before anyone acknowledged me. When the interviewer came out, she gave me a very rude attitude for being late even though I was ON TIME and patiently waiting for her. The questions were irrelevant to the job position, and during the interview, her attitude was horrid. She even stopped the interview to have a conversation with another person. I would never want to work for this company or the interviewer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bearly Marketing (Manhattan Beach, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
Terrible. The owner/ founder was rude. 1. Couldn't pronounce my name upon meeting me and said, "it's okay, I'll just call you number 7." 2. I submitted an assignment for the position and she contacted me over the weekend to provide an update. I didn't care to learn about the outcome given that I realized that I could do so much better than working for someone like that. Also, her reaching out during the weekend is a red flag.

Question 1
The interview itself wasn't difficult. I can't speak to whether I was getting an offer or not, I didn't care for it after the initial introduction.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bearly Marketing (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I walked in and no one greeted me and the woman at the front desk looked at me comically when I approached her. I was told to sit down on a couch in the lobby. I was then greeted by the interviewer who unfortunately did not seem to be the least bit friendly. I know an interview is not a social gathering, but a company should exude and positive attitude. She then handed me a notepad and asked me to write why I wanted to work there. Was very strange as we were sitting right next to one another, and I would have much preferred to speak face to face. I wrote my response and handed it over. She read it, we talked for three minutes and I was dismissed.
I found the process to be incredibly rude. The company had no regard for my time or hearing me out, or truly getting to know me. It was an extremely judgmental environment, and I was simply taken aback by the way they treat people. I can only hope they bring their spirits up 100% higher anytime a client or someone important walks in. Can't even imagine what the working environment is like. Thankfully, I got the next job I applied for at a larger agency with a much more prominent reputation.
I'm very sorry that you had a bad experience when you came in to interview with us. The request to write down your first answer is for us to get a sense of your writing skills, which are critical to success at Bearly Marketing. I'm glad you found a position that I hope has worked out for you. Sincerely, Angela
