I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Richfield, MN) in Apr 2017
Interview
I went to one interview, we talked about my experience, then I white-boarded some answers to their questions, then talked some more. They seemed happy with my experiance but possibly not my answers on the white board.... I am not really sure.
Made it pretty far in the interview process but the panel round was humiliating. Not a group of guys I would want to work with in the end anyway. The panel felt more like fraternity brothers hazing a freshman and was downright weird
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Best Buy (Mumbai) in June 2025
Interview
Good and end to end was taken by CTO.
Concept and Logics behind big data and data science, GCP everything
3 rounds and more than team handling it was about technology and use cases in retail sector
Phone screening, zoom interview, technical and behavioral, final interview, then decision after a few weeks typically. Very smooth processes with one recruiter assigned to you the whole step of the way
