I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy (Atlanta, GA) in June 2013
Interview
I applied online 2 weeks after I applied for the Sales Consultant position in the Computer/Tablets department. I was expected the next day. Basically It was a quick process of questions, name a time where you had to go out of your way for a customer, dealing with angry customers, my knowledge of computers and tablets, and some other situational questions that weren't difficult at all if you have previous job experience. Immediately after the interview i was asked to do a second interview the next day with the GM. The next day, had an interview, and was hired on the spot.

I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy (San Marcos, CA)
Interview
The interview went as expected for a job in retail. I was asked about past experience and what my current availability looked like. At the time, I accepted an offer and was working shortly afterwards.
Normal behavioral interview. Phone call, interview, offer. Pretty easy to get through. Went in for a tour, asked a couple questions. Everyone was pretty nice. Nothing unexpected. Could be different now though.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Best Buy
Interview
Very casual and normal line of questions. Depending on the role you apply for they do ask behavioural questions and some strength and weaknesses. Fairly quick process. You will be asked to meet twice and one phone call for screening
