      Customer Service Representative II Interview

      25 July 2014
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer

      Application

      I interviewed at Best Buy

      Interview

Sat in the back room and had a series of two interviews in store and one phone interview before I got the job. They asked me a lot of in depth questions. The questions were a mix of easy and hard. Just be confident and have a positive attitude and you'll do well!

      Question 1

      Nothing was really unexpected.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Best Buy

      Interview

Hiring and interviewing process was fairly straight-forward. However, training took longer than expected. The people there ranged from being serious about their jobs to ignoring their responsibilities. I was there when customers blatantly stole items and nobody else noticed - therefore, nothing was done.

      Question 1

Past experiences and what I intend to bring to the company.

      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Best Buy

      Interview

The first time I applied as an external candidate was almost a decade ago, but it hasn't changed much since then... So, what you should expect is to meet with a supervisor or manager after a back office associate calls to set up and interview. That sup or mgr will ask you a series of questions out of an interview guide. If that leader wants to hire you, they will pass you along for a final interview with the general manager (or another assistant manager if the gm is unavailable). Sometimes the wait for the final may take a day or two, but if you're hired after that you'll just need to take a drug test.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The most difficult would probably just be some of the self awareness type questions you'll be asked. Think about all of your strengths and weaknesses prior to interviewing so you don't stumble over your words.
