Interview
A week or more after applying online, I recieved a phone call that consisted of a very short phone "interview". The only questions I can remember being asked were "Why do you want to work for Best Buy?" and "What electronics are you interested in? What dept. would you want to work in?" After that, they scheduled me an interview for a later date.
I arrived to the interview. I suggest dressing nicely, but at this store, they'll hire almost anyone. Eventually I was greeted by my first interviewer and sat down in their meeting office in the back of the store. I was asked some scenario questions, asked why I wanted to work there, and my favorite, "How would you describe good customer service?" He was grumpy and told me they'd call me if I qualified for a second interview.
They called me again a day or so later for the last interview (geez). I showed up and had a short interview with the General Manager, who asked me a lot of repeat questions. He then offered me a job.

The interview process at Best Buy was very welcoming and straightforward. They focused on understanding why I wanted to work there and my involvement in technology. The interviewers were friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my passion for tech and customer service. It was clear they value employees who are enthusiastic about technology and eager to contribute to their team.
