After asking basic questions from you and your resume the owner goes with you on everything that happens in the store and prepares you for a training period. You are updated of the system, materials and products. The environment is good and proper for the work.

Since the store wasn't open yet, we met at a cafe nearby in Belmar. I brought my portfolio and was hired pretty much on the spot. If you don't bring a portfolio, expect to be given a simple test of your graphic design skills in Photoshop/Illustrator.
