Gone through few interviews with different departments. The interview was so so and they asked some technical questions. They also asked whether I could work till night if I got selected.
But the job requirements are different from the one sent by recruiter. I am not sure if the hiring managers know what they want. I just wonder what level of engineer they were hiring. Senior ? Junior or mid level? Hmm..
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
- Tell me about yourself
- Are you OK to work till 8/9pm and sometimes work on Saturday?
- Some other technical questions like coding, simple SQL scripting which I thought was Okay
It was 3-step interview: 2 technical interviews and 1 cultural interview, talked with several people in the company regarding opportunities for professional growth and career. Was very happy to join the team
4 rounds in total. I went through the HR round and the 1st technical round.
Both of the interviewers are not really good at English speaking, I can talk to only one interviewer and have to ask the other one to type (she couldn’t talk clearly about what she really wanted)
The job description mentioned that it’s open for Python or Java language but it seems like the interviewer didn’t know about it, or at least their arrangement, she just asked only in Java even though I already mentioned to Hr that I prefer Python.
Overall the questions are about your past project, some behavioral situations, Java topics, TestNG, CI/CD
