I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Binance in Oct 2022
Interview
I was sent an email to schedule an interview. The interviewer was 5 minutes late, never apologized, never turned on the camera and on top of that the interview only lasted 5 minutes. The interviewer was 0% engaged with the interview, she sounded bored. She asked me a little bit of my backgroud (she hadn't read my CV), my salary expectations, if I was okay working nights or weekends and if I would be okay with a crypto salary. That was it. Two days later I get an automatic email saying that "the team has decided to focus on a slightly different profile". I don't know how they made the decision if they didn't ask me anything related to the job or Binance. They should hire HR people who actually want to work, I am completely disappointed with Binance, their process and their HR team.

Question 1
- Backgourd - Salary expectations - If I was okay working at night and/or weekends - If I was okay with a crypto salary
Overall, it went well. The interview included basic background-related questions, discussions about expectations, and my motivation for wanting to join Binance. There was also a short quiz designed to assess my English proficiency.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Binance (Kuala Lumpur) in Jan 2026
Interview
I got this interview through an internal referral since my LinkedIn application was rejected. First round there was an English AI test with spoken answer questions and typing assessments simulating customer support, After passing the assessment will get HR interview, asking about my past experience and reasons for leaving, with feedback on the spot. Final round interview with 2 team leads asking similar questions and how I’d handle situations, plus another typing test. I got the results the next day. Everyone was really polite and friendly, and I got the results the next working day.

Question 1
HR:
-Why you leave previous company?
-What’s your past experience?
-Expected salary
Honestly, this was a waste of time.
The process started with an assessment that included an English test (wasn’t requirement for the role) and a chat simulation. The chat part at least made sense.
The HR interview was actually fine. The recruiter was clear, polite, and even told me my profile fit the role well.
Then came manager interview… and it was bad. Very rushed, zero engagement, and it honestly felt like they had already hired someone and were just interviewing for the sake of appearances. After that complete silence. No feedback, no update, just ghosting. After multiple stages, that’s just disrespectful.
