I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bit in July 2025
Interview
First stage involves a chat with the HR, about myself and the company. It was very chill just to get to know each other. Then it's followed by a 30 minutes online "personality test" which aimed to test what kind of a person you are. In my opinion, that is very useless and waste of time.
Afterwards, this is when everything goes bad. I received a technical assignment about a prediction task, that I had to finish within 2 days. The assignment is expected to be done within 5-8 hours. Within the short time, you have to build a model from scratch, from preprocessing to final visualisation, together with a report explaining your implementation. It was an easy task so I could do it in time. After two weeks, one worker, contacted me by PHONE CALL with an attitude, that I was rejected, due to bad quality of code without any classes. To be honest, with the limited time, it was difficult to have the cleanest code ever. The workload for the task is the similar as a weekly assignment from universities. The assignment experience just felt very unprofessional and disrespectful. I really liked the young culture of Bit initially, but unfortunately I feel very disrespected.
