I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BlackRock (London, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
two interviews with different members of the team, really open and kind.
They presented the specific group what they were in, what they do on a daily basis, they ask my group preferences, ask questions starting from cv.
In the end they asked if I had questions and answered in a complete way.
They left their email contacts.

Question 1
Tell me about your internship experience and why it sets you up for this role
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at BlackRock (New York, NY) in June 2026
Interview
The Hirevue questions were all behavioral, no tell me about yourself or why blackrock. Questions were pretty simple. Prepare a financial news story you are following because they will ask you that.
Hireview is preparation and then one time recording, which is from memory 3 minutes long. There was only 3 questions for me and most of it related to the role instead of purely just asking why blackrock or why this role.
