I applied online.Ā The process took 4 weeks.Ā I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Jan 2022
Interview
Applied via LinkedIn.
Got a HackerRank test couple of days later. They ask you to do a source code review and find vulnerabilities. Basic OWASP top 10 stuff.
Next I had a Zoom call with the recruiter. The recruiter gave more details about the role, salary etc.
After that, I was invited to do a video call with two team members. We talked about my technical background and went over my HackerRank test answers.
Next I was invited to do another technical interview with two other team members. This interview was more role oriented. They ask open-ended questions and expect you to explain your answers in detail.
Finally, I had an interview with the manager. We talked about my past job experiences, my CV etc. It was more like a conversation no technical questions.
I havenāt heard anything from the recruiter about the outcome (2w+). This whole interview process took more than a month so it's kind of sad that they didn't even bother to send a simple email. Instead the recruiter decided to ghost me.
Overall, my experience with them was okay aside from getting ghosted. People were nice and they appeared competent. Would rate my experience 8/10.
Update: I had a call with the recruiter a week later of writing this. Apparently, there was some internal miscommunication between the internal recruiters which caused a delay in their response. So everything is good.
