      Difficult interview

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booking.com (Manchester, England) in July 2022

      Interview

3 stage process. First with Hiring manager, then with another manager and finally with HR. The last stage was to discuss salary. I declined unfortunately as I had another offer

      Business Analyst Interview

      3 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Amsterdam
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Booking.com (Amsterdam) in Apr 2024

      Interview

HR intro call -> A process analysis case interview with two colleagues -> Behavioral questions interview with another two colleagues -> Cultural check with the hiring manager. I was told by HR that the 'Behavioral questions' round would be a 30-minute business case to solve, so I spent a lot of time on researching it. But it turned out to be an hour-long chat with the two future stakeholders on how will I start the job/challenges in this role. So I highly encourage you to double-check with the point of contact, even if they sound sure of it......

      Business Analyst Interview

      11 June 2022
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

      I applied online. I interviewed at Booking.com

      Interview

I applied through the website and a week later I received a contact from a recruiter by email for an interview. I dedicated a lot to learning everything about the company, about the vacancy, and aligning my experience with it. In the interview, the recruiter says that the role required experience with a particular tool, but the job description only mentioned that having experience with this tool would be a PLUS. It was clearly a typo as I didn't have the required experience and wouldn't apply if it wasn't just an extra skill. The recruiter said that it was not a typo and from that moment on the interview moved to the end. Hours after the interview the job description page was updated to the part where it said it was Plus for MUST HAVE. A day later I received a denial of a "no-reply" email, where I couldn't even defend myself or suggest anything. Really disappointing to prepare for an interview and, through internal company error, not be considered for the position -- as I had all the other qualifications and experience.
