I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Boots (London, England) in Nov 2016
Interview
I arrived a bit early so I had to wait but when it was time I was told by a staff member to wait 10 more minutes as they were delayed. The manager then came to see me and brought me to the interview room and answered some scenario type questions, about work experience and including when I would be available in terms of when I would be able to start. The manager was friendly so I was able to relax during the interview. Afterward we went to the shop floor and showed me around the aisles and asking how the products were kept and how I would tidy certain aisles.I was then asked to talk about the product I had chosen which appeals to me and likely to be available in store and then was asked to 'sell the product' to the manager. He asked a few more questions regarding about identifying a confident/unconfident shopper and how I would approach them. We then went back to the interview room and was told I would get a reply in 2 weeks or shorter. I had my interview today so I'm waiting for my reply.
The interview was an hour long. Questions were
asked around compentencies. I was then brought out onto the floor to interact with customers and demonstrate product knowledge. Overall, it was pleasent, good interview.
