I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Booz Allen Hamilton (Washington, DC) in July 2010
Interview
My initial interview was a lot like speed dating. I was in a large ballroom with many other applicants. I had a small table to myself where my assigned interviewers would come by and talk to me for about 20-30 minutes. A few days later, I was called by the program manager and offered a position.

Question 1
The most unexpected questions I got were technical and unrelated to my area of expertise. I assume I was asked them because of my undergrad degree (which is very broad) and the interviewer seemed surprised that I didn't have experience in the systems he asked me about.
The Booz Allen consultant interview process was pretty straightforward—started with a recruiter screen, then a couple of behavioral interviews, and a case-style or problem-solving conversation. Overall, it focused a lot on teamwork, communication, and how you think through challenges. It felt professional but conversational.

Question 1
Can you describe a time where you had to lead a project?
It was easy no case study just talked to two people back to back. I think they were two thirty minute interviews. They can be from different accounts and just walked through your resume
Two interviews one with my job lead and one with my career manager. Typical questions about you and your resume. Both interviews were virtual and about 30 minutes in length.
