I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Chicago, IL) in Sept 2015
Interview
Did 1st round elsewhere, was invited to Chicago for the final round. 2 interviews: 1 written case and 1 standard case. Written case is quite intense, and most slides they provided were relevant so you just have to be quick and decisive and put down notes that are directly presentable. Definitely try to spare 5 minutes to practice. Standard case was comparable to the cases in the 1st round (and not really difficult), but the partner made it stressful by being 'extremely' impatient and asking to do a series of calculations on the fly.
Also of note: local office culture can be quite different within the same company.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group in Aug 2022
Interview
Pymetrics, then a chatbot case interview and a Zoom behavioral interview with another consultant, then a final round case and behavioral interview with two Principals. The cases with the Principals were easier than I had anticipated, with a focus more on qualitative and creative thinking.

Interview
I had case interviews with two different consultants at the firm. The interviewees were friendly and knowledgable, and were also pretty accommodating. It was a pretty quick process all things considered.
