Quite lengthy, but was fair. Interviews were held in 4 rounds with other candidates on site. With a fireside chat from some of the leadership. Then broke out into the one on one interviews.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked about my background, what company would I try to pitch to, mock cold call.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Branch in July 2022
Interview
There were a lot of steps to the interview process as demonstrated here:
- initial screening call with recruiter
- interview with hiring manager
- take home mock sales challenge
- panel of four 30-minute interviews (with the hiring manager, another SDR, and a couple other people on the sales team)
- online personality/work style assessment
- interview with upper level sales employee
- final interview with VP of Sales
Yes, the process was long, but the company and team really care about finding great hires. Having so many interviews did allow me to develop better idea of Branch. The process also moved fairly quickly and they were transparent throughout.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Really understand what Branch does and be prepared to explain it in your own words. Be well researched on the company and practice like you would for any interview.
I applied online. I interviewed at Branch (London, England) in Aug 2020
Interview
I was called by a nice hr person from NY, she asked me many questions about my CV and development and knowledge of the company. After those 15 minutes on the phone, she told me she wanted me to take the following step to the interview with the hiring manager who was in Asia during my interview while I reside in Europe. The interview with the sales development manager was 3 days after the phone screening with the hr recruiter. The interview itself did not feel sincere at all and would say that it was not a welcoming process. I ended up being turned down with the excuse that the hiring manager said I had not enough experience, but this was known beforehand which makes it seem like a disrespectful response. I had questions for the hiring manager and he was trying to make me stop speaking which was rude.
