I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Broadcom (San Jose, CA) in Sept 2011
Interview
Got the call from corporate recruiter for a position in San Jose. They didn't do a phone screen first and asked me directly for an on-site. I think the reason is because my current job is an exact match for they are doing there. Went to the SJ office and talked to about 5 engineers plus the manager.
