I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Broadcom (Richmond, BC) in Sept 2014
Interview
Interview was about 1 hr long. Two of their senior engineers come out and interview me. Starts out with about 10 min of behavioural questions, then technical part starts. My interviewers ask 3 questions regarding simple string manipulation and data structures. Overall, it was all basic technical knowledge and interviews will guide you through the questions if you get stuck.
I applied through university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Broadcom (Vancouver, BC) in June 2014
Interview
On-site interview was arranged through university co-op office. Interview was approximately 1 hour long and consisted of a short discussion of my studies and then answering programming problems on a white board. One of the questions involved implementing atoi() and the other involved using a queue to solve a particular problem.

Question 1
The second coding question, while not involving difficult concepts, was poorly contrived and the interviewer was not very responsive to my attempts to clarify the details of the problem.
