Application, invite for interview,presentation, 3 tests plus teach session for 20 min in the classroom. Tests on Tests but it is trainee or ? Recent news says college and school prefer teachers with PGCE even without maths degree to teach maths, this is shocking. Gov is investigating in every college , with short teachers,why 80% maths and physics graduate are reject. We were 2 candidates . HR manager rude, after 2 times I ask " Can I ask your name please " , replied " doesn`t matter" , so I continued to call her " Sorry...sorry" to ask something. You will be trainee but they ask to do a teach session, how come ? The Head teacher of A level, young guy prob 27, most of them has only 3 years maths degree , no friendly at all, they feel GOD, and with 3 tests think to judge people with Degree and Master Degree in maths 1 class. I read now all reviews and I can understand why there is no one good. I took a second master degree in Management, and these people don`t know anything about management. After 2 weeks, they publish others 2 advertisement for maths trainee , they didn`t hire anybody in the previous interview, probably in 2 months you will find a sociology graduate that will teach maths, good luck for your children in this college.
