Horrible. First off, the technical manager showed up over 15 minutes late without a word to myself or the HR Representative. Ok, fine, things happen, but this was the tip of the iceberg. They asked me to describe myself at a high level and asked exactly one question about my resume. Spent very very little time discussing me or my background and ZERO time discussing the role.
At this point, I was given a technical test, which, like another interviewee mentioned, felt like a college level final exam and lasted for, I kid you not, 3 hours. The questions were seemingly made up off the top of the technical manager's head and at least one was missing critical information in order to come to the answer he was looking for. Weirdly enough, I had to solve trigonometry problems (how this relates to a Firmware Engineering position, I could not even begin to tell you). The test was difficult, not necessarily in terms of the content, but the fact that they asked me to write code on pen and paper, then would suggest doing things a different way and had me start from scratch on another blank sheet.
Finally, after three hours of technical examination, I was told about 5 minutes worth of information about the company and gave me the opportunity to ask questions. After being there for nearly 3 and a half hours, I wanted absolutely nothing more than to leave.
There is a reason they have not filled this position in months through their own listings or the numerous third party recruiters they are using, They seem to want perfection for an entry level position and put their candidates through a gauntlet to get there. Frankly, they could've offered me double my asking price and I would've turned it down based on this awful experience alone
