I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at CIBC (Toronto, ON) in June 2016
Interview
The interview process was fairly long, lasted almost 75-80 minutes. The questions asked were mostly based on technical aspects of the role, knowledge of the finance sector and previous experiences in similar roles. Basically went over whole points on the resume, touching each task I did in previous roles. Interviewer was very friendly explained a lot about what they do, what they want the candidate to do, expectations, day in the job..etc. Behavioural questions or questions based on soft skills weren't there as I was interviewed by the Senior Finance Manager.

Basic interview questions. Not a long process. Mainly between 2-3 weeks hiring process. Hiring managers friendly and kind. Describe your experience and why you want to work for the company.
Straight forward, no trick questions - light on technicals. Mostly background based questions and behavioural along with one case-type question. Up to date broader market knowledge was also a key theme during the interview
