I applied on naukri.com and got a call from the employee of the company. He asked me how many years experience I had in PHP. I had more than one year of experience. He also asked me on the phone, about PHP methods like implode, explode, require, include, etc. Salary offered was more than 4 lakh and could go higher depending on the performance in the interview. It was scheduled the next week, based on my convenient time. I was told to drop by at the address mentioned in the email sent to me(google maps link was also sent). It was also mentioned in the email that if I ever would not be able to come for the interview process, I need to inform them in advance as a professional courtesy.
The first round consisted of 8 questions, with both logical and coding problems. I needed to code in PHP and SQL. Since I didn't meet the 50% solving criteria, I was not called to the next round.
