I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at CadMakers (Vancouver, BC) in Jan 2019
Interview
Phone Interview and then on-site interview. On-site interview consisted of looking at construction drawings followed by a Behavioral interview.
My initial screening of phone interview was good and they scheduled me for an on-site interview. They didn't even offer me travelling fees to come to Vancouver and the moment I reached the site, they told me the other two interviewers who were supposed to take my interview aren't available. I don't like how they function and their HR team is definitely not the greatest.
My interview went well and it looked like all positive, but apparently I wasn't hired.

Interview
As soon as I went in for interview, I didn’t get a good vibe. It seemed like they had already hired someone and interviewing me was just a formality. The hiring manager was not even present and nobody even communicated that why they were not there. The hiring manager was supposed to be there for conducting the interview with the senior engineers as that’s what was communicated to me through the email. I think they could have done a better job with communicating and not wasting my time if they had already made a decision.
