Cadmus Learning Support Manager interview questions

I found the interview process very clumsy due to the tech they're using (Workday?), which was surprising considering Cadmus is considered a top EdTech provider – I'd expect they're more discerning of their internal software and UX as a result. First, there was specific questions for the cover letter, which helped reduce friction when structuring a response. However, the next step was a recorded video interview, which felt impersonal and clumsy given the effort already put into the first step, and due to the restrictive/ clunky UX from the software used. For example, it didn't really make sense to me that offering only 3 attempts per question matters. If the hiring team want to see how well you perform on the spot, why not do a real interview? If having video recordings matters most, why limit the attempts and not simply encourage Loom or Zoom? Prior to this, the software allows you to practice your responses. Unfortunately, the UX uses language synonym with submitting the real thing ie: it asks you to "submit" your practice responses. I found this very confusing and below standard for a good candidate experience. Overall, the impersonal nature and clumsiness of the process surprised me as I have a lot of respect for Cadmus and what they're building. If I ever end up working there, I'd really encourage changes based on the above.
