Cairn Energy interview questions

First interview was conducted by 3 geoscientists of junior level mostly asking questions about yourself, experience and what skills you could bring to the company. Second interview was conducted by 4 senior level geoscientists and exploration manager. This was a technical focussed interview. Given a seismic line to interpret in 10 mins and then presented to them with some questions about interpretation. More seismic images were displayed testing structural geology, seismic stratigraphy and geophysical artefacts, and you had to talk about your observations and interpretations. Core images were shown and you had to provide observations, descriptions and interpretations. Overall, it was a challenging interview testing your geoscience knowledge and understanding.
