The most complicated interview I have experienced.
I had 7 rounds interview including:
- written interview, tens of questions and also ask you to provide examples covering your high school education experience. I spent 1h to write it.
- Psychometric assessment, 5 parts to test your memory and reaction speed, I took totally 30min to finish it and felt exhausted after that. Really interested in the purpose.
- Technical assignment test, you are asked to finish a assignment like a project, it took me 4h to finish it
- Meet and greet interview, one of their employee talked to you with 30min. I felt the interviewer did not prepare it and just chatted with you to kill time
- Technical deep dive, you are asked to read one open source code project for around 4d, and then two guys had interview with you for 1.5h to check your understanding of the code. Also asked several linux questions.
- HR interview, one HR had interview with you for 1h, asked your working experience and introduce provided perks. And I was told first time that I could be only employed as contractor as there is no legal entity in the country. I was totally lost as they do not state in the JD before.
- Hiring manager interview, it took 1h to have interview with your hiring manager.
Then I was told that their hiring process is ceases although the hiring manager interview is ok. No reason, I felt the entire interview was so ridiculous, it waste both of company and me so much time(for me 40h), then it ends without reason.
