      CRM Specialist Interview

      21 Mar 2026

      Sydney
      No offer
      Neutral experience

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Canva (Sydney) in Mar 2024

      Interview

I applied for the role and heard back within a week. The interview process was clearly outlined and overall well-structured, with four stages: recruiter, hiring manager, technical interview, and a final presentation. Communication was professional and consistent up until the final stage. After the last interview, communication declined significantly. I had to follow up regularly, and although I was repeatedly told they were happy with my performance and close to a decision, this stage dragged on for a full month. Based on this feedback, I turned down other opportunities, expecting a positive outcome. However, I was eventually told they chose someone with a different skill set, and received feedback that contradicted what I had been told earlier. Overall, the process took nearly three months and felt unclear and poorly managed toward the end. I expected a more transparent and decisive experience.

      Question 1

From what I remember, there was a strong focus on assessing your expertise and how your skills would fit within the team structure. You’re asked quite detailed questions about your experience, so it’s important to have a solid, confident understanding of your skill set and be able to explain it clearly. There were also scenario-based questions related to the role, which could range from highly technical to more general, platform-based questions depending on the position.
