I applied online. I interviewed at Canva (Manila, Manila) in July 2020
Interview
Initial interview was very casual. Asked about my interest in the company, then fleshed out the past experiences listed on my CV. Overall just getting to know more about me and how I would be able to contribute. Friendly!

Interview
After initial application I was invited to an interviews very quickly(2-3 days after applying). The interview was self-scheduler which made the process smoother as you can choose whatever day and time suits you best. The interview was pleasant and checked a lot of skills and experience required for the role. I got the decision within 3 days which also was great as you know exactly whether you'll be going to the next stage or not and you don't have to wait around.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Canva (London, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
The process was really friendly, lots of follow ups, and information. The hiring manager was very informative and remained consistent. Although there were several stages, the last stage which was 4th or so, and i had to wait for over 3 weeks because someone who needed to be in the meeting had travelled so that was hard, but overall really positive experience.
Application
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Canva (Sydney) in Sept 2025
Interview
Great hiring and interview process from start to finish. Communication was clear and timely, and the team did a great job setting expectations around each stage. There were multiple interview rounds which gave me the chance to meet different managers and team members, which I really appreciated as it helped me get a good sense of the company and how the teams work together. Everyone I spoke with was friendly, easy to chat to, and genuinely open to answering questions about the role, the culture, and the challenges the team is working on. It felt like a two-way conversation rather than a one-sided interview, which made the whole process feel thoughtful and well run.
