It was easy, you take a typing test and then you dictate a little audio thing, if you pass (which i’m sure most people can) you meet with a manager! the interview was really easy and they were kind, they don’t really turn people away because they’re always in need of captioners so I got a job offer on the spot.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CaptionCall (Henderson, NV)
Interview
I took a typing test and a couple speech tests on Dragon. 30 wpm for typing, 88% for speech test are passing. I passed on my first try but another applicant didn't. He was able to retake all tests but still didn't pass. I was being nosy when I overheard the test administrator say he could take it again after more practice. Lots of chances at this company.
