The HR rep was ok, but the process got worse as I entered the office. I believe that I was a filler candidate, someone they really weren't considering for the role. As a entered the recruiter didn't attend because it was too cold outside, so the first interviewer took me to the room. As other candidates were getting a tour and time to learn more about the company. The first person, wouldn't show any engagement to my answers and was away typing everything I was saying word for word. It was very nerve-racking. It was strange because the role was meant to be a nontechnical learning role. But all the questions were about my technical skills, which I had, and he kept asking what was wrong with their platform. The second interviewer had a different style but was asking very tough question for a detailed step by step process of everything in my resume. This is common but in a very harsh manner, and by the time the third interviewer showed up I was exhausted but all his questions were about where I see myself in 20 years. Honestly toughest interview I ever had, and I had my fair share.

First was a phone screen with the recruiter - just a casual conversation about the position. Second was a phone interview with the hiring manager. After that, I completed an analysis test where I sat down with another analyst on a screen share and wrote some SQL queries. Lastly, there was an onsite that took around 4 hours, consisting of a probability test, 3 one-on-ones, and a panel interview. While I enjoyed the conversations with the employees at the company, I thought that the overall experience was handled quite poorly. All of the phone sessions took place 20+ minutes later than originally scheduled, the onsite had to be rescheduled, and then they took three weeks to follow up after the onsite interviews. The actual onsite interview was mentally exhausting, as they drill you with questions and don't really allow any time to get to know the people you'd get to work with on a personal level. While I ultimately was not offered the position, the way that everything was handled turned me off from the company anyway.
