The Interview process started as a somewhat standard practice: recruiter call, hiring manager call, multiple panel interview. Then they asked for references - FIVE no less and according to my former colleagues who filled them out the process was rather onerous. This reference check was not in preparation to make an offer but to rather aid their screening process further. In the end, I found out I was not selected when an acquaintance jubilantly announced their new job on LinkedIn. The recruiter simply ghosted me.
When an employer asks for your 3 past bosses to fill out that sheisty SkillSurvey --just say no! If you don't get the job you'll have wasted their time big time, and it gives companies the impression that this is ethical.
Based on this process, I would never consider working for or with Cardno.
