I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chocolove (Boulder, CO)
Interview
Initial communication was very positive. Initial interview went well. However meeting the "higher ups" the gentleman I spoke with as part of a panel seemed somewhat racist and confrontational. He would barely make eye contact and afterwards the person I originally interviewed with was a complete 180° personality-wise. It was a very odd and uncomfortable situation. All in all though, I'm glad I did not get a position with a company full of micro-aggressions. I ended up finding a much better position with much better pay and an amazing and supportive group of people. I reported them for discrimination, but it's really hard to prove unless you video record it. :-(

Question 1
Are you willing to work on weekends? (This turned out to be for food shows, etc.)
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Chocolove (Boulder, CO) in May 2016
Interview
I applied online, though a Craig's List post. I was contacted for a short phone interview. After my phone interview, I was contacted for an in-person interview. I thought the interview went very well. Until, however, I mentioned my Sabbath. For which I believe, and have an email stating, that I was not hired because of. My Sabbath would only conflict with Fridays, a couple of times per year, where I would have to leave 15-30 minutes early due to sunset. They where unwilling to make any accommodation for this. I've never had any issue with any employer for similar arrangements, and I've been working Admin/Clerical for over ten years. I would ask that the company please look into being more of an Equal Opportunity Employer. After learning so many positive things about your company, I was very disappointed about the religious discrimination I experienced. Everyone has initially been so nice and seemed like they would be a great group to work with, it quickly changed when they found out about my Sabbath.
