I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Chokolait (Melbourne) in Nov 2015
Interview
The interview was conducted at the store while I gave my CV to the manager. The interview was not different and was a informal conversation with the manager. Questions mainly focus on hospitality working experience and the coffee making skills. The manager describe the roles of a barista, trainings staff will receive, and requirements. The manager also clarified the tasks involved in everyday shifts.
I think if you get enough working experience and have convincible coffee making skills you will be considered.
