      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Citi (Grand Rapids, MI) in July 2010

      Interview

I applied online. Immediately took the IQ or Intelligence Test. I received an email the next day telling me that I had successfully passed the test and that I would hear back from HR soon. I received a call a day later and scheduled an over the phone interview. It was half hour interview and was fairly average, typical screening interview. Why are you leaving your current job? What are your sales skills? Give examples of a time you worked in a group and when you had a conflict how you resolved it. Give example of a time you closed a sale that exceeded your goal and how you did that. Describe a situation where you went above and beyond for a customer. If you are prepared with all the typical questions, like sales questions, goals, working with others, reasons for leaving (and it shouldn't be because you hate your job), this should be easy enough. I got an email and call the next day stating that I had moved on to the interview stage. The District Manager gave me a call back a couple of days later and we scheduled the interview for a Thursday, the following week. The 1:1 interview was pretty relaxed and I was prepared, brought my portfolio with me, resume, and took down notes and jotted down questions as we went along. It was a few of the same questions with some, "What do you not like about your current job?" What do you like least? What do you enjoy most? Why? What are your sales experiences? How do you use questions to make sales or find information?? And of course at the very end, "Do you have any questions for me?" I had quite a few actually. I would be leaving my company for Citi and so it was really important to find out what exactly the job entailed and if it is in fact a secure job. It has been eight days to date since the interview. At this time HR has called me saying they have not completed all interviews and have to complete them in order to make job offers. So "hopefully" within the next week or the week after.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Winnipeg, MB) in Feb 2012

      Interview

Quick, easy, painless. I was asked to come into the branch where they asked a series of questions. It was myself, the manager and the District Manager. It was an overall good meeting but depends on who you're interviewing with. My manager and DM at this location were unbelievable. So awesome. It was when I made the switch to a different province -- I had trouble and ended up quitting after 4 years.

      Application

The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Citi (Greensboro, NC) in Apr 2011

      Interview

I completed a online skills/personality test which consisted of about 50 questions the level of the questions was easy. A few days later I received an email to schedule and phone interview which was basically about any sales management experience I had. They didn't ask about educational background. I can tell you that Citigroup ranks low on the compensation range when compared to other banks on the street. Citigroup employees are paid nearly 20% below market.
