I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Citi (Roseland, NJ) in Jan 2012
Interview
Relatively easy; met with two people in the same day. Receptionist was very friendly. Waited about a month; took drug test in Long Island City, NY.; not much paper work to fill out...made you feel very comfortable...if you do your job and what is expected, you will do well. The people are great to work with.

Question 1
Basic interview questions; nothing out of the ordinary. Basically talked more about the company and didn't ask very many questions. They mostly asked about job experience, your skill set pertaining to the positon.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citi in Feb 2025
Interview
The interviewers were warm and welcoming, creating a chill, open atmosphere. It felt friendly and relaxed overall, though the only downside was the virtual session starting later than scheduled.i started off by inyroducing myself, before I did that they apologised for starting late, I thought this was thought full of them.

Interview
Met with Hiring Manager who was very pleasant and created a relaxed conversational interaction. I never met anyone like her. I wish everyone doing an interview can meet people as gracious as this lady. Met the other members of the team individually, to understand the role better and ask questions. They were all so informative and warm. I really believed I was the one for this job. Screener asked to put my application on another department, same job, because they'd prefer me there and she couldn't transfer the application. I was supper excited. Did ask requested Then banks started collapsing and Citibank ghosted me. Followed up but nothing substantial. Then several weeks after, got rejection email.
Utterly disappointed. I'd had an offer on another job so I accepted it. Later on Citibank started laying off, so I understand, but it is still my desire to get in there one day.
