I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Citizens (Chicago, IL) in Apr 2014
Interview
You have to go to the online portal and apply. The online application is a pain in the neck. After that you do an assessment test, timed and rushed. Then a video interview, 1 way, your own schedule, through hirevue.com
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The assessment test is "find the bank slip information that is wrong" "if you started off with xyz dollars and your drawer is xy dollars, how many dollars are you missing" its timed so you have to have a calculator
First you have to complete an online assessment, that once completed is valid for 6 months. If you passed the assessment they schedule an in-person interview at the branch where they ask questions about your education and experiences , to tell about yourself, also role play where you need to respond using the STAR method and its also good to do a little bit of research about the bank and the credit cards they offer.

Question 1
Tell me about a difficult situation you had at your previous job and how did you handle it?
There were 2 interview processes which included one over the phone that asked generic questions and the other in person with the branch manager. Very smooth process and heard back within a week.

Question 1
Customer service experience, what would I do in a difficult situation
I applied online. I interviewed at Citizens (York, PA) in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process was hard for a teller position that wasn’t anything special. The interview was a bit rude. I was professionally dressed and have a degree in business yet she was short in wording and never got a call or email after.
