I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ClassPass (New York, NY) in July 2018
Interview
Class pass contacted me over LinkedIn. Despite them contacting me, it still took a week or two to set up a phone screening. After that, I was given an online coding exam. I missed a test case in one of the questions and ended up scoring an 83 percent.
After that, I never heard back. That's what gets me. I understand if I get rejected. I even understand the code screening. However, ghosting a candidate is, in my opinion, never acceptable.

Question 1
a line of code has one logical bug in it, find the bug.
Very fast paced. Interviewer was yawning multiple times. I often felt like I wasn't being heard by the other party. There were 3 people in the call which made me really nervous.

Interview
Applied online and was contacted by a recruiter on the same day. 30 minute conversation with the recruiter, and I was scheduled for an interview with the hiring manager. The interview with the manager went great, and I was pretty excited about the role and the company. He seemed interested and engaged in our conversation, and without me even asking about next steps, he told me what to expect for the technical part.
A day later I reached out to the recruiter and expressed how much I enjoyed the interview with the manager. The recruiter also said someone will be reaching out regarding next steps shortly.
The day after, I received a generic rejection email.
