Very smooth. The owner had prior knowledge of my performance at the business I previously worked for. We had several telephone conversations discussing direction of the business. We meet for coffee at a couple of the interviews to have a nice discussion.

Positive process - company technical principals conducted the majority of the interview. HR staff were helpful and communicated excellently. Salary offer was competitive for the area, benefits package was well above average for the industry.
