I was contacted about applying to a branch manager position by a third party recruiter. After the first phone interview they stated I would be a better fit for an operations manager position. After an in person interview for the operations position I reached out by email to express my continued interest (as was asked by the interviewers). After a week of no response the recruiter that presented me the opportunity reached out to the company and received no response.
I can understand not being a fit for the company, but it seems rather unprofessional to ghost an applicant after 3 interviews. I spent 4 hours of my life, and withheld applying to other companies for 3 weeks and have no feedback to work with.
