Interview
SCAM. Don't Waste Your Time. They Are Only Using You.
I wish I had taken the Glassdoor reviews more seriously before engaging with this company. Unfortunately, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, only to find out they lack genuine interest in hiring candidates. Instead, it seems they’re more focused on extracting ideas from interviewees.
I applied for the Trust and Safety Analyst role, a position I was clearly overqualified for. After completing a detailed case study, I was invited to the first round of interviews, where the discussion revolved around my case study in alarming detail. Also to note, they record your interview and keep a transcript of it.
Questions asked:
1. Why did you recommend keeping Siara’s account deactivated?
2. What other data points could have strengthened your analysis of Siara’s performance?
3. If Siara was more qualified or valuable in other areas, would you have handled the case differently?
4. How would you account for her school blocks in your decision-making?
Additionally, they asked highly specific questions about managing contractors outside of the E-commerce platform, which felt more like solving a current company challenge than assessing my skills.
Then, things took a turn. The interviewer pressed me for ideas on how to perform quality assurance (QA) on their team members. I proposed the concept of using "fake incident reports" paired with answer keys to evaluate quality—a strategy I've successfully implemented in previous roles. The interviewer seemed overly interested, especially considering they’d only been with the company for 6 months.
If this company starts using “fake incident reports,” it’ll be clear where the idea originated. I can’t help but feel like my intellectual property was exploited during this process.
Despite excelling in the interview (I was even told I’d be moving to the next round), I received a rejection email. The whole experience felt disingenuous, and it's clear they were more interested in leveraging my ideas than genuinely considering me for the role. Proceed with caution if you’re thinking of interviewing here.

Question 1
Questions Asked:
1. Tell me about yourself.
2. Why did you decide to recommend keeping Siara’s account deactivated?
3. What other data points would have strengthened your analysis of Siara’s performance? Asked very specific questions about assessing how you would schedule and accommodate contractors “not on the E-Commerce platform” more of a “real life situation at Clipboard”.
4. If Siara is a valuable Sub in other areas, would you have approached this case differently? If she was more qualified and had a stronger skill set, would you still have deactivated her?
5. Questions about how you factor in her school blocks.

Interview
Did two lengthy case studies and got reached out to interview. The interviewer spent barely any time asking about my background or my skills (less than 2 minutes, which is unusual for a first interview) before moving on to discuss the case study for about 45 minutes. Unfortunately, it does appear that this is a scheme to get free consulting work as they were more interested in how I came to unique findings using data analysis than who I was or what I could contribute.

Interview
I received an email from Clipboard Health regarding their hiring process. After expressing interest in joining their team, they provided me with the next steps, which include completing a case study. Here’s a breakdown of what they outlined:
Complete a Case Study: They’ve asked me to finish a case study and submit it in PDF format within 5 business days. The case study is meant to evaluate how well I handle the types of challenges they often face.
30-Minute Interview: After submitting the case study, I’ll have a 30-minute interview with their Head of Strategy & Operations, Samay Jhunjhunwalla.
They mentioned that, as a 100% remote company, they value clear written communication. So, this process allows them to assess my skills and how they align with the kind of problems they regularly deal with.
